You may remember Sarah and Chris from their engagement photos and engagement guest book that I posted a few months back when there was still snow on the ground. I photographed their wedding a couple weeks ago on June 12th. It was such a lovely event! Sarah & Chris are so fun, excited and animated. All the pieces fell together perfectly for this wedding. The locations, weather, light, flowers, and of course people! Angela of Fresh Designs did the flowers and the reception was held at the beautiful Springhill Pavilion.
Thank you Sarah & Chris and Congratulations!

I was trying to hold back tears right before the ceremony. The moments between Sarah and her Dad were so amazing and touching!

I LOVE these moments right after the ceremony! Pure Joy!

Cali grabbed this shot of me photographing a group.

This is Cali's shot of Stan, Sarah's dad. He looks so happy and proud in this moment. :)

The light during toast was amazing! I went crazy shooting! So beautiful and touching!

As many of you know, I just returned, this last Sunday from a vacation on Kaua'i. Below you'll find some of my favorite shots from the trip. The views were spectacular, water calm and soothing and seafood and shave ice absolutely delicious!
Bill and I headed over for some R&R time and luckily, my sister, Cody, was able to fly from Chengdu, China to meet us!
Besides the gorgeous beaches and luscious landscape, one of my favorite parts of the trip was visiting a botanical garden. I LOVE plants and flowers and of course photographing them too!

Me and Bill at the beach near the beach house we rented.

Cody and me at tunnels after some snorkeling and of course sunbathing.

Botanical Gardens!

A sweet portrait of my sweet sister.

Cody and Bill viewing & discussing the plants at the botanical garden.

Doing the tourist thang.

So, Bill is a primitive skills teacher. He owns a school here in Bozeman called Past Skills. He demonstrated and I photographed a handful of skills while we were there. Here he is harvesting coconuts! Pretty sweet huh!?

Here's a little sneak peak from a wedding I photographed this last Friday, just to wet your whistle while I am gone.
Aloha!

My friend and fellow artist, Jenny Christiansen had me photograph her jewelry display a couple of weeks ago after we had the art and jewelry party we had here at the studio. Here are some of my favorite shots. Her work is so beautiful, original and fashion forward! I highly recommend you to check out her work which is available on Etsy.com.

As many of my local clients know, Bozeman's local wine bar, Plonk, is one of my favorite places to get together with clients and friends. Plonk has recently been purchased by 3 young entrepreneurs. In celebration of their new purchase and the new vibe, they decided to throw a formal, invitation only grand re-opening party on Thursday, May 28th and a huge grand opening party on Friday, May 29th which was open to the public. They so graciously asked me to photograph the private party which was well attended, classy and beautifully decorated with coordination by Katalin Green, floral design by Avant Floral, lighting by Filmlites, and music by the M.J. Williams Trio. Not to mention, fantastic wine, cocktails and food by Plonk's talented bar tenders and chefs.
Here are some of my favorite pics from the night.

The back patio is beautifully decorated with planters from a local Bozeman nursery, Oak Gardens.

Here are the new owners: Brett, Michael & Dave.
