This is Hannah Galloway. Isn't she gorgeous!!? We did this shoot in mid October for her senior portraits. Hannah is a aspiring photographer. It was a blast cruising around town in search of cool locations. She is a natural in front of the camera too.

So I was reading Jessica Claire's blog last week... January 7th to be exact and read that she's decided to declare blog bankruptcy...I've decided that this is a fabulous idea. Literally, I am about 23 weddings, 40 portrait sessions, and numerous personal blogs behind. So, I too am going to wipe the slate clean and start fresh. Ahhhhh... that's better. I can breath again...

So to start this a new I am going to blog about my most recent wedding couple. Rhianna and Mike. We did there engagement portrait session in mid November and they were married on January 3rd. The engagement session was a blast! They brought Guss, their great mastiff puppy! They were so full of love. Rhianna is quite the sparkle. You'll see from the photos, she's always laughing, being silly and fun.

So we had a great time at the Woodlands on Sunday. We officially launched Blubird Images to the world. We met lots of lovely brides, grooms and their friends and familys, mixed and mingled with other vendors and... last but certainly not least, took the models out doors for some photos.

The Woodlands is the back drop. After Five & Weddings provided the gowns and tux and the Posie Patch provide the bouquets.

Every year in January the flurry starts... the holidays are done and the realization that there are only a few short months to finalize all the wedding details hits. The phone starts ringing off the hook and email start flying in. A great way meet, compare and decide on vendors you want to book for your wedding is to attend a wedding fair.

Larry and I only do one wedding fair each year... The Ever After event at the Woodlands. It is the most classy, simple wedding fair. Its casual, low pressure and pretty much opposite of the typical huge overwhelming wedding fairs held at the mall. This year we will be there with Meggan, Kyra and Jennie Lynn pitching the new Blubird photographers.

It should prove to be a great time. Between chatting with potential clients we will be photographing the models in their wedding gowns. After 5 & Weddings is providing the dresses, Poise Patch is providing the flowers, Larry, the Blubird girls and I will be taking pics and of course the Woodlands will be the fabulous back drop. I'll be posting the photos next week.

So, I am sure you all have been wondering what in the world I have been up to.... I don't blog, I don't call... I'm just way too busy! One of the reasons is my dear friend, fellow photographer, and studio mate, Larry Stanley and I have recently started a new business called Blubird Images. We've been training 3 new photographers, all extremely talented and creative women to photograph weddings. We have just launched the first draft of their website and are working hard to put all of the final pieces into place.

Last but not least, Kyra. We went to collage together and she has assisted me and Larry in the past years. Larry calls her bubble girl.... meaning, she's got a bubbley personality.
